40 Rabbana Duas for Pregnancy

Complete Collection of "Our Lord" Supplications from the Holy Quran

Direct from Allah's Speech • Perfect for Every Stage of Pregnancy • Blessed Mothers' Daily Companion

📖 What Are Rabbana Duas?

"Rabbana" (رَبَّنَا) means "Our Lord" in Arabic. These are special supplications found throughout the Quran where prophets, righteous believers, and angels called upon Allah using this beautiful address.

Why they're perfect for pregnancy: These are not ordinary duas - they are Allah's own words preserved in the Quran. When you recite them, you're using the same exact words that prophets like Ibrahim, Zakariya, Maryam's mother, and Muhammad ﷺ used to call upon Allah. There's no more authentic, powerful, or blessed dua than the words Allah Himself taught us in the Quran.

7 Protection ✓ QURAN 7:23
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

This is Adam and Hawwa's dua after they ate from the forbidden tree. It shows complete humility and acknowledgment of one's mistakes. 8 Protection ✓ QURAN 7:47
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

"Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."
Source: Quran 7:47 (Surah Al-A'raf)

🤰 Pregnancy Application:

Short but powerful protection dua. You're asking Allah to keep you and your future child away from evil people and evil influence. As a mother, you want to raise your child in a righteous environment. Start making this dua now - protection from bad company begins even before birth.

9 Protection ✓ QURAN 7:89

🤰 Pregnancy Application:

A beautiful declaration of complete trust in Allah. During pregnancy, you're placing your trust in Allah for a safe delivery, healthy baby, and righteous upbringing. The second part asks that you not become a source of fitnah (trial) for others - meaning may your pregnancy journey be a source of inspiration, not a cautionary tale.

👶 Children & Offspring Duas (11-20)

These duas specifically ask Allah for righteous children, protection for offspring, and guidance in raising them properly.

11 Children ✓ QURAN 3:38

Source: Quran 14:40 (Surah Ibrahim) - Dua of Prophet Ibrahim (AS)

🤰 Pregnancy Application:

Prophet Ibrahim's dua for his children to be people of prayer. Start asking Allah NOW (while pregnant) to make your child establish prayer. This dua plants the seed of righteousness even before birth. Scholars say babies in the womb can "hear" and are affected by what mother recites.

13 Children ✓ QURAN 25:74

Source: Quran 37:100 (Surah As-Saffat) - Dua of Prophet Ibrahim (AS)

🤰 Pregnancy Application:

Simple, direct, powerful. Prophet Ibrahim asked for a child "from among the righteous" and Allah blessed him with prophets Ismail and Ishaq. Even though you're already pregnant, continue asking Allah to make your child among the ṣāliḥīn (the righteous ones). Quality over quantity - one righteous child is better than many disobedient ones.

Source: Quran 21:89 (Surah Al-Anbiya) - Dua of Prophet Zakariya (AS)

🤰 Pregnancy Application:
